Kendrick Nunn Now the Highest Paid EuroLeauge Player

News: According to SDNA, former Illinois Basketball guard Kendrick Nunn, who also spent time with Oakland University, the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, and Washington Wizards, has signed a new contract. The deal makes him the highest-paid player in Europe.
Per SDNA (@SdnaGr): “Kendrick Nunn will sign a €4.5 million per year deal presented by Panathinaikos BC Athens and will remain with the European champions until 2028, removing the NBA out clause from his contract. The American superstar will now become the highest-paid player in Europe.“

Last season, Nunn averaged 20.3 points per game while shooting 40.5 percent from three-point range over 31 games with Panathinaikos BC (Athens, Greece) in 2024-25. The Greek powerhouse is looking to sustain its EuroLeague dominance—starting with locking in their sharpshooter.
Following some success in the NBA, the 29-year-old will look to advance his career as a key role player in Athens. During his last year as an Illini, he averaged 15.5 ppg and 5.0 RPG on 39.1 percent from the three.Â
