Illinois Football DB Miles Scott victim of terrible Targeting call
The Illini did not have a good night in Bloomington, Indiana.

Indiana has outclassed Illinois football in the first half of their game and is clearly as good as advertised. Curt Cignetti has done an outstanding job reviving what was a dead program into the top half of the Big Ten. However, this targeting call on Illinois DB Miles Scott was questionable at best. The Illini were down 14-7 after a slew of special teams mistakes. The Hoosiers continued to march down the field, and the play below unraveled. It was just not the Illini’s night. After this, Miles Scott, a leader of the Illini defense, was ejected. After looking at the replay, it is pretty clear that Miles Scott led with his shoulder.
The problems continued for Illinois as they were already without star DB Xavier Scott. After Miles was ejected from the game, DB Kaleb Patterson also suffered an injury and was seen with crutches. Not a good night for Illinois football.
