Illinois basketball offers 2026 combo guard Ethan Brown
The Illini have offered an under-the-radar prospect in the class of 2026.
Illinois basketball has offered Ethan Brown, a combo-guard out of Rolla, Missouri. Brown is starting to gain the interest from a variety of schools as he now holds offers from Illinois, Southern Illinois, Lindenwood, St. Louis, Missouri State, and Northern Iowa. He also holds interest from Iowa, Iowa State, Missouri, and more. He took an official visit to Iowa on June 16 but has yet to receive an offer from the Hawkeyes.

Growing his game and profile
The Missouri native is currently unranked in the latest 247 Sports 2026 recruiting rankings but is considered a rising prospect.
He averaged 22.2 points, 6.1 assists, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.8 steals last season at Rolla High School. He also competes on the P32 AAU Circuit with the Gateway Knights.
Brown is an under-the-radar prospect in the 2026 class that head coach Brad Underwood hopes to strike gold with. He can score at all three levels and is an elite shooter from beyond the arc.
High-major programs are beginning to take notice of Brown as a potential backcourt addition, despite his current unranked status. Illinois basketball is the first high-major to extend him an offer, and he should continue turning heads as the AAU circuit wraps up.
