Top-5 2026 SG Adam Oumiddoch Puts Illinois in his Final 5
A Top-50 Player in the class of 2026 cuts his list to 5 – Including the Fighting Illini
Four-star G Adam Oumiddoch, currently the 4th-ranked shooting guard in the nation and the No. 45 overall player in the class of 2026, has trimmed his impressive offer list all the way down to a final 5. According to Joe Tipton, a national college basketball reporter for On3, his final cut includes: LSU, Villanova, Oregon, St. John’s, and, of course, Illinois.
Oumiddoch additionally held offers from Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Kansas State, Washington, Providence, Alabama, Rutgers, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, USC, and several others.
The Arlington, Virginia native is a dangerous premier talent at 6’6″, 180 lbs, playing in the Overtime Elite circuit, where he averaged 17 points per game over the summer — shooting 49% from the floor, 38% from downtown, and 86% at the line. His blend of high-velocity scoring, clever ball handling, and ability to creatively finish at the basket makes him a prime guard prospect.
The top-50 talent is slated to take an official visit to Champaign from October 17–19, giving Brad Underwood’s staff a prime opportunity to make a great impression before he heads to NYC for his final visit with Rick Pitino and the Red Storm. It’s worth noting that he’s already completed official visits to LSU, Oregon, and Villanova — followed by the Illini (Oct. 17th-19th) and St. John’s (Oct. 25).
