Illinois Football added a late commitment to the 2025 recruiting class, landing Florida offensive lineman Dylan Frechette on Tuesday (12/3) Evening.

As the final hours of Tuesday evening (12/3) came to a close, Florida offensive lineman Dylan Frechette announced via his “X” page that he has officially flipped his commitment from FIU, to Illinois Football. The West Palm Beach (Fla.) native boosts the Illini in the 2025 class rankings, bringing the group of 20 commits to 47th in the nation according to 247 Sports.

Impact
Frechette, a 6’5”, 335-pound mauler, is currently ranked as the No. 116 interior offensive lineman in the country after a really productive senior season at Cardinal Newman High School. Consequently, the mammoth of an offensive lineman’s recruiting saw quite a boost. Dylan’s expanded offer list includes Pittsburgh, Miami, UMass, Southern Miss, Akron, Arkansas State, Bryant, FIU, Georgia Southern, Illinois State, North Carolina A&T, Old Dominion, Troy, West Georgia, and Western Kentucky.
