Former Illini Star Chase Brown with Career day vs Panthers
Former Illinois football star, Chase Brown, had a career day vs the Carolina Panthers. Brown was integral in the Cincinnati Bengals’ first win of the season. He had fifteen carries for 80 total yards, including two touchdowns. Chase has split starting running back duties with Zack Moss and clearly had his best game of the season this Sunday. The Bengals have chronically struggled with offensive line issues and overall run production, however, Brown and Moss had quite the day vs the Panthers.

An Illini Legend.
Chase Brown was one of the most productive Illinois football players ever. During the 2022 season, Brown put up 328 carries for 1643 yards and 10 touchdowns. He seemingly carried the ball at least 30 times per game and was consistently productive. This insanely productive year helped him become a fifth-round draft pick for the Cincinnati Bengals. With the Bengals trying different options at the running back position, Chase is in prime position to make a statement as the lead back.
The Bengals have struggled despite having a load of offensive talent. If Brown can consistently reproduce the game he had Sunday, look for that to turn around.
