Illinois Basketball has had a sneaky good offseason so far. Illinois has a lead point guard again
Boswell averaged 9.6 points, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 steals on 37.9% three-point percentage as a sophomore at Arizona. He started 35 of 36 games for the Wildcats and will have 2 years of eligibility at his next destination. Given the Illinois basketball’s need for a lead point guard, Boswell will be an immediate impact. He plays both sides of the floor and has high major experience being a floor general. Kylan Boswell is only 18 years old. He decided to reclassify during his prep recruitment and is still extremely young.
For context, Sencire Harris has played one less year of college basketball than Kylan Boswell and is still at least two years older than him.
