Illini Volleyball takes on Illinois State in Home Opener

Illini athletics is back in full swing! After the season opener for Illinois Football, the other sports are going to start picking up their seasons as well. With students on campus, excitement for all Illini athletics is peaking. One of the most underrated events as a student at the University of Illinois is an Illini Volleyball game at Huff Hall. Huff Hall has a beautiful court with a dynamic atmosphere that is second to none. Those night games at Huff after students get their work done are some of the fondest memories of my own college career.

The Illini will take on Illinois State for their home opener in Huff Hall. The game will be on Tuesday, September 3rd at 7 pm. The game will also feature on Big Ten Plus for those who would like to watch on television. The Lady Illini volleyball team is off to a strong start. They currently sit 2-0 and are hoping to make a statement during their home opener. Also, the Illini have incorporated Pride Night into their home opener. This is certainly a cool gesture from Chris Tamas and his program as they will hopefully have an amazing turnout.
