We are just 8 days from the 2024 NFL draft. Of course, it appears Caleb Williams season in the land of Lincoln, Mel Kiper Jr. is ready to rock and roll, and any talk of “who may go where” for former Illinois players is almost over. On episode 82 of Illinicast, hosts Sunny and Austin discuss the players who could potentially hear their names called on draft days 1-3, April 25th-April 27th. As well as discussing players who have a shot to make their way into in an NFL camp.

Bret Bielema’s program produced a record 6 invitees to the 2024 NFL Draft Combine. Those players include DL Johnny Newton, WR Isaiah Williams, OL Isaiah Adams, OL Julian Pearl, DL Keith Randolph, and TE Tip Reiman. Special guest Quienten Krzysko (@ButkusStats) of the On Tap Sports Net joins the Illinicast crew to break down each player. As well as discussing where they could be a potential fit in the pros. Will Johnny Newton work his way into the top 10? Where is Isaiah Williams a better fit in the NFL? All this and more, discussed in episode 82 of Illinicast.
