Illinois Basketball announces dates of Intense Non-conference Schedule

Illinois Basketball has announced the dates of their non-conference schedule. There is no doubt that the Illini have a handful of marquee matchups vs some very exciting teams. Illinois basketball will certainly need to be at their best from the very get go. Coincidentally, the Illini have five SEC teams on their schedule. Arkansas, Alabama, Missouri, Tennessee are all formidable opponents who will content for postseason play. Also, they will be playing the likely number one overall pick, Cooper Flagg, and the Duke Blue Devils for a marquee matchup at Madison Square Garden. The timing of that match up is certainly intriguing.

Since they are playing at the end of February, both teams should be significantly locked in as they prepare for a post-season run.
