Three Former Illini make NBA G-league Training Camp Rosters

Marcus Domask, Quincy Guerrier and Justin Harmon were all vital pieces to a historic season for Illinois Basketball. All three brought a level of experience and toughness to the Illini. Their skillsets provided the perfect compliment to the star-power of Terrence Shannon Jr. Though the three were not selected in the NBA draft, all three former Illini have made G-league training camp rosters.

Marcus Domask (Windy City Bulls/Chicago Bulls)

Domask had an extremely short stint on the Chicago Bulls preseason roster. After even going through media day festivities, Domask was waived shortly thereafter. Marcus Domask struggled in the NBA summer league, however, does have an intriguing skillset. I am curious if the Windy City Bulls will allow him to play with the ball in his hands. If so, Marcus Domask should certainly thrive.

Quincy Guerrier (Raptors 905/ Toronto Raptors)

Guerrier will continue with the Raptors after a stint on their NBA Summer league squad. Quincy did not play much during the summer, however, does have an intriguing skill set for the next level. If he can focus on rebounding and becoming a consistent knock-down threat, Guerrier can find his way onto the court. He absolutely vital in providing front court versatility for Illinois basketball.

Justin Harmon (Salt Lake City Stars/Utah Jazz

Harmon made the Utah Jazz G-league affiliate roster despite not playing in the Summer League. Harmon played one year in Champaign after two years at Utah Valley. The Chicago native was a key cog off the bench averaging 5.6 points and 2.7 rebounds.
