A player who made an impact
Terrence Shannon Jr only played with Illinois Basketball for two years. Despite this, he quickly became a fan favorite and an icon. On December 28th, the news absolutely gutted the entire Illini fanbase. For many, it really did feel like the world stood still for a few hours. Certainly, the reaction that surfaced for the Illinois basketball superstar shows how tight-knit the Illini fanbase and the Illini players get. As the trial comes to a close, we hope to finally celebrate Terrence’s Illini career.
