Former Illinois Basketball Star Signs NBA Contract
Adrian Wojnarowski has reported some major Illinois basketball news. Former Illinois Basketball star, Malcolm Hill, has officially signed a two-way contract with the New Orleans Pelicans. Malcolm has been grinding away in the G-league and has been rather impressive. Hill averaged a stellar, 24.6 points per game while shooting approximately 44 percent from the 3pt line during his G-League season. This recently led to Hill signing a 10-day contract with the Pelicans prior to the All-Star break.
Malcolm has clearly done enough in that time to stay with the team for the rest of the year. This is awesome news for Malcolm as he will be able to play on a team that is in the thick of the playoff race.

An Underrated Illinois Basketball Star.
Malcolm Hill was a prominent name for Illinois Basketball fans who went to the school in the mid-2010’s. Malcolm poured his heart and soul into trying to will the Illinois basketball program into the NCAA tournament. Unfortunately, Hill never played in March Madness. After playing some years overseas, Malcolm was able to sign some short deals with the Chicago Bulls and the Atlanta Hawks during the COVID year. He unfortunately was cut by the Bulls, however, continued to grind away in the G-League.
