Illinicast: 5-Star Will Riley Commits to Illini Basketball

The projected starting lineup for Illini basketball would certainly be the following: Kylan Boswell, Will Riley, Ty Rodgers, Ben Humrichous, and Tomislav Ivisic.

Brad Underwood has done it again, as 5-Star (2025) sharpshooter Will Riley has announced his commitment to Illinois Basketball. Riley went live on Sunday to announce his pledge to the Illini over Alabama, Kentucky, Arizona, and the New Zealand Breakers (NBL).  The Canadian wing is currently the 9th player overall in the class of 2025 according to 247 Sports. However, Riley will look to reclassify himself to the 2024 class, as he is 18 years old and eligible for the 2025 NBA draft. This is a smart move for Will, as he is already starting to appear on future draft boards. In addition, Riley is now the highest-rated recruit of all time for Brad Underwood during the current recruiting rankings era.
