The Illinois Basketball Experience! After a string of 3 games with large deficits in the early second half, Illinois Basketball has shown that they will not go down without a fight. Look, Big Ten Tournaments are cool. However, Illinois basketball fans have had their sites on one goal all year. That is a deep run in March. The past three Big Ten tournament Champions have suffered early March Madness exits, including the 2020-21 Illinois Basketball team. The timing of the Big Ten tournament is rather awful, however, Illinois will likely land a 3 seed. Whenever they play, they must be ready to receive the punches of a well-rested mid-major squad.
Regardless, Illinois Basketball has had a successful season. Let’s hope that this is the trampoline for more wins and more memories. I-L-L!
