Illinois Basketball Coach Brad Underwood Brings Energy to Sights and Sounds

Illinois basketball head coach, Brad Underwood, brought his usual fun energy to the Welcome Week event, Sights and Sounds. The 2024 welcome week closed off with its popular “Sights and Sounds” where Illini students get into Memorial Stadium. While there, the revenue sports come to rile up the crowd and the students are introduced to the “Hail to the Orange” song.

With the University of Illinois starting classes on Monday, August 26th, the Illini athletic calendar is shortly underway. Time has flown by as the football season opener is only less than a week away. Though the basketball season is around two and a half months away, Brad Underwood continued to show his appreciation for the new students.
