Illinois Football coach Bret Bielema Continues Recruiting Efforts amidst success

With Illinois Football gaining recent momentum, the Illini’s recruiting efforts are sure to turn. In recent classes, Bret Bielema has started to win more power-five recruitments. As time goes on, Bielema and his staff have increased the amount of commitments from prospects who have power-five offers. Winning has always been one of the largest hurdles for Illinois football recruiting. Illinois football’s program has strong administrative support and an extremely passionate fanbase. Facilities have slowly improved, however, a winning history has always been the main knock.
As of now, Bret Bielema has finally achieved a winning record while at Illinois. However, he is staying true to his values and understanding the ever-changing landscape of college recruiting.
Bielema’s Quotes:
“What I think we’ve learned is to manage and ride the highs and minimize the lows,” Bielema stated. “But also, there’s certain that are high priorities on our list, you kind of know when they’re available when to hit them.”
One trait that Bret Bielema has really shown is competence. He has outstanding awareness and understanding of the College football game and is never afraid to adapt.
He then stated that “recruiting is like shaving. You miss a day, you look like [crap],” Bielema said Thursday. “I’ve taken that now today. In today’s social media world, it’s a very up and down world.” Hopefully, this awareness and uprising trend helps the Illini on the everchanging recruiting trail.
