Ayo Dosunmu Drops Career High vs Wizards
What a night for the Illinois Basketball fans. After clinching a trip to the Big Ten Tournament championship, Ayo Dosunmu dropped a career-high 34 points vs the Washington Wizards. Dosunmu put up an efficient night. He went 14-22 from the field and also contributed 9 assists for the Chicago Bulls. Ayo has been outstanding in the year of 2024. He has stepped into a starting role alongside Coby White and has absolutely shined. During the month of March, Ayo averaged 15.8 points and 4.7 assists on 49.2% shooting and 46.7% three-point shooting.
Additionally, Ayo has logged approximately 36 minutes throughout the entire month of February and March. Whether you feel the Bulls are just a mediocre watch or not, He is undoubtedly a key piece to the Bulls.
Dosunmu time
It honestly pains me that Ayo Dosunmu did not get to experience the full ride of March Madness. During his Sophomore year, COVID took away the tournament from one of the most clutch players in the country. During his junior year, Illinois Basketball unfortunately fell short early vs the Loyola Ramblers. Ayo was a true joy to watch during his time in Illinois. Hopefully, the Chicago Bulls can take some steps to improve their team so that Ayo Dosunmu can show his talents and personality on an even bigger stage.
Ayo Dosunmu tonight:
34 Points
9 Assists
3 Rebounds
63% FG
