Marcus Domask had the best game of his NBA G-league career on Friday night. In a 114-111 loss for the Windy City Bulls, Marcus Domask led the way with 23 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists in 35 minutes. To make matters even more impressive, Domask did not miss a single shot all night and went 10 for 10 while making all three of his three-point shot attempts. Domask seems to be becoming more comfortable in the professional ranks as he is less than two weeks removed from a 16-point and 6-rebound effort.
Marcus likely won’t have another game where he does not miss a single shot on such volume, however, it is good to see his jump shot start to fall. Domask is shooting only 19.2 percent from the three which is certainly limiting him from getting some attention from NBA teams.
Booty Ball to the professionals
Domask is one of three former Illini basketball players in the NBA G-league. He is joined by fellow teammates from the Elite Eight squad, Quincy Guerrier and Justin Harmon. So far, Guerrier has had some impressive moments while Harmon is still working his way into the rotation. Recently, Marcus Domask has seen an uptick in his minutes. If he can find the form that he found in early January while at Champaign, look for Domask to have plenty more impressive performances for the Windy City Bulls.
