News recently broke on X that a former Illinois Football Offensive Guard has Transferred within the Big Ten
Former Illinois Football Guard Transfers Within The Big Ten
On April 29th, former 2023 4-star recruit Andrew Dennis entered his name into the Transfer portal. The native from Mount Pleasant, MI was merely a Freshman, and only with Illinois Football during spring ball camp. His reason for leaving the program is unknown, and of course, private information. Indeed, a surprising turn of events for Bart Millers’ offensive line room. The 6’5 and 290-pound guard was the 3rd ranked player in the class of 2023. As well as the 19th-ranked interior offensive lineman in the nation according to 24/7 Sports. Certainly, a big loss for Bret Bielema’s squad.

To rub a little salt in the wound, the big man decided to keep his talents within the Big Ten, as well. As to be expected, the former Illini guard is hitting the road for home. Taking his many talents to the Michigan State Spartans. This was a prime opportunity for new MSU head coach Jonathan Smith to make his sell to Dennis to finish out his career in the Great Lakes State. Furthermore, he was able to close.

Reaction: Andrew Dennis Departs from Illini Football
