Former Illini Football Lineman Rising Up Chicago Bears Depth Chart

Former Illini Football lineman, Keith Randolph, signed as an undrafted free agent with the hometown Chicago Bears. As it stands right now, Randolph has risen to the third string of the defensive tackle spot for the Chicago Bears. If Randolph can stick onto the roster, he will develop some valuable experience and hopefully stick onto an NFL Roster for an extended period of time. Players like Jake Hansen, Delshawn Phillips, and Tony Adams are all former undrafted Illini who have found homes on an NFL roster.
A strong opportunity for the former Illini.
Randolph was a projected draft pick heading into the 2024 NFL Draft, however, surprisingly fell into the undrafted pool. The Chicago Bears is a strong fit for the former Illini as they are in need of some defensive line help. In between veterans Montez Sweat and Demarcus Walker, the Chicago Bears have a rather young nucleus in between at the Defensive tackle position. Randolph Jr. had a fruitful career for the Illini. In five years, he totaled 159 tackles, 23.0 tackles for loss, and 10.0 sacks. He also became one of the most popular players in the Champaign-Urbana area. Without a doubt, all of Illini nation will be rooting for the Belleville native.
