Illinois Basketball: Enter the Kofi Cockburn NIL Locker room

On February 11th, former Illinois basketball star Kofi Cockburn will have his jersey honored in the rafters of the State Farm Center. Cockburn will be the second Illini after Ayo Dosunmu to have his jersey honored during the Brad Underwood era. To prepare for such an honor, our friends at Campus Ink and the Illinois NIL store have reopened Kofi Cockburn‘s locker room and are reselling a lot of his college merchandise. On top of that, the first forty purchases from Cockburn’s locker room will receive signed memorabilia. The Illini will also play UCLA in what is primed to be quite a big-time conference matchup. After overcoming a double-digit deficit at home over the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Illini are hoping that their season can get back on track after losing four of six games. The schedule will only heat up as they will face UCLA, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Duke all in succession. After their starting center, Tomislav Ivisic, returned to the lineup, Illinois basketball looked like a completely different team. Additionally, Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn and Morez Johnson Jr. injected major life into the starting lineup.
