Lee, on the other hand, is a rugged, 6-foot 3-inch combo guard who is really adept at getting downhill. He can bring an edge and a toughness to the Illini once he develops into a role.
Scoring pop
Illinois basketball is getting a player who knows how to score the rock. In the 2024 EYBL session, Lee was third in scoring at 23 points per game. He needs to become a much more efficient scorer, however, things should be different in college. Lee will have plenty of quality players around him and he will not have to do as much as he does on the prep circuit. Brandon is a streaky shooter. When he faced off against Rutgers star, Dylan Harper, on the EYBL, Lee dropped 34 points. If he focuses on becoming a knockdown catch-and-shoot option, while becoming consistent with rim pressure, Brandon Lee will be a solid player for Illinois Basketball.
