Updated Week 9 Injury Report For Illinois Football
Illinois Football is currently preparing for a road trip to Eugene, to take on Dillion Gabriel, and the Oregon Ducks. Coach Dan Lanning‘s squad is undefeated, and following the most recent AP Poll, they have moved up to the very top.
If Illinois wants any shot of knocking off the nation’s best, it will need to have all hands on deck.
Coach Bret Bielema met with the media on Monday and provided an updated week 9 injury report for Illinois Football. According to the Illini coach, they are in fighting shape to head out west for yet another ranked matchup on Saturday afternoon.

Bielema’s IR Update
We now know that sophomore RB Kaden Feagin has unfortunately had surgery, and will miss the remainder of the season. Losing Illinois’ talented power back is certainly a blow to the offense. The Illini will therefore rely on its plentiful depth to recover productivity from Kaden’s absence.
However, according to Bielema, everybody else is full go to face the top-ranked Ducks on Saturday afternoon.
“Fortunately, we’ve been staying pretty healthy,” Says Bielema. “don’t expect to have anybody from this past game, that won’t be at this week’s game, and everybody is cleared and ready to roll.”
No news appears to be good news in regards to defensive lineman Dennis Briggs Jr. Of note, Briggs was briefly knocked out of the game late against Michigan. After a really solid performance vs the Wolverines, Illinois Football will need Briggs healthy for Oregon.
