WATCH: Illinois Football Kicker Ethan Moczulski Nails 59-yard Field Goal

To close out the half vs Central Michigan, Illinois football kicker Ethan Moczulski nailed a 59-yard field goal. Moczulski is typically the guy for kickoffs, however, after starting kicker David Olano missed an attempt from 54 yards, Moczulski was given a chance. Bret Bielema has actually been praising Moczulski for his job on kickoffs as he typically gets the opposing team into a touchback. However, it was certainly a cool sight to see the walk-on kicker make a school record.

Illinois Football has always had some good kickers. For example, former Illini Chase McLaughlin is currently the starting kicker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. James McCourt has had some opportunities in the NFL as well. However, it was Ethan Moczulski, the walk-on transfer from Texas A&M, who sank the kick.
