Introducing Armchair Illini’s Illini Basketball Podcast

What’s up everyone! First off, just want to thank all of you who have been reading our site for the past year. It’s been a fun journey and this past year has been extremely intense for me. As some of you may know, I am currently a resident physician for Northwestern Medicine. I joined Armchair Illini in 2017 when it was just some random twitter page with 50 followers. To joining a very successful media network, Full Ride Network and to having our own website that has over 100,000 views in the past few months, this past year has just been insanely cool to me. I want to thank Ant Wright for giving a full-time doctor a chance to experience life outside of the hospital and for understanding and supporting me through the busy schedule I have.

I also want to thank Dante Pryor for continuing to grind on great football content and Brian Binz for sharing his basketball expertise with this site. These are also guys with full time jobs who have stayed true to themselves and worked alongside me.

Alright, enough personal chat. We have a Major announcement!

The Illini Basketball Podcast will now be a part of Armchair Illini

We have enjoyed providing written content and continuing our inane tweets for all Illini fans the past year. However, we are always trying to expand our game. Ethan Carter and Tyler Bramley do a fantastic job of covering Illinois basketball and athletics on their show, Illini Basketball Podcast.

We have officially become partners as the Illini Basketball Podcast will now be a part of the Armchair Illini website and team. I have placed all of their social pages below. I really hope you check them out and give them a listen because they are incredible at what they do. Keep an eye on the “Podcast” tab on this site. I-L-L!
