Top Shooting Guard Jasiah Jervis lists Illinois basketball in top-5
The Illini will have their shot to land one of the best pure scorers in the class of 2026.

Jasiah Jervis, one of the top shooting guards in the class of 2026, has released a top-5 school list. Jervis is currently the 39th overall prospect in the class of 2026, and he announced Illinois, Tennessee, Pitt, Michigan State, and NC State. Thus far, he has already taken visits to Michigan State, NC State, and Pitt. Which means he has to visit Illinois and Tennessee. Per DuShawn London of 247sports, Jasiah Jervis will be on the Illinois campus this weekend, October 17th. Jervis will then follow that with a visit to Tennessee over the weekend of October 24th.
Per our sources, Michigan State and NC State are currently the frontrunners for Jasiah Jervis.
The fit?
Jervis is an elite shotmaker in his class. At 6 feet 4 inches and 190 pounds, he has a college-ready frame and multiple scoring ways. Right now, Illinois has combo guard Ethan Brown and stretch forward Landon Davis committed to their class of 2026. Jervis would be a piece that could contribute immediately on the perimeter. With Kylan Boswell graduating this year, the Illini could certainly use a premier scorer at either guard position. Jasiah Jervis is arguably the best pure scorer in this class. If the Illini can lock this one down, that would be major news.
