Where Illinois Football Ranks In EA Sports College Football 2025

Football fans and gamers alike are highly anticipating the 2025 edition of EA Sports NCAA College Football. Originally, the game was released in 1997 with the reveal of NCAA College Football 98′, running a highly successful series. However, in 2013, The game was placed on halt due to a name, image, and likeness lawsuit put in place by former NCAA athletes. Of course, EA Sports discontinued the game, and NCAA 14 seemed to be the end of the road for our college football video game hopes. However, after 9 long years of anticipation, the game is officially back, and Illinois Football will be available for play! The game’s anxiously awaited release date is set for July 19th, 2024.

How Good Will Illinois Be?

Overall, the Illini commence 2025 with an 87 overall, unofficial team rating. The rating is a calculated culmination of an 83/100 offensive rating, and an 84/100 overall defensive rating. Certainly, the ranking for Bret Bielemas squad is higher than originally anticipated by many. Of course, great news for fans of Illinois Football, who patiently wait to virtually lead the Illini to victory.
