Former Illini wide receiver, Pat Bryant, made a media appearance at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. Bryant will participate in a series of drills this upcoming weekend in hopes of improving and solidifying his current NFL draft prospects. Pat Bryant had an unbelievable senior season for the Illini. He caught three game-winning touchdown passes and made the All-Big Ten Second team.
He was a main target for a historic Illinois football team that captured ten wins for the first time since 2001. Despite not playing in the 2024 Citrus Bowl for Illinois, the Jacksonville, Florida native finished the season with 54 receptions for 984 yards and ten Touchdowns.
Words from Pat Bryant:
“I’m going to do everything…I ain’t come here for nothin’, man. I came here to put on a show.” Bryant also added, “I’m going to turn a lot of heads come tomorrow.”
Pat told reporters that he is looking forward to the 40-yard dash drill the most. So far, Bryant has made all NFL GMs aware of his size, reliable hands and plus blocking skills. However, showing speed and quickness will certainly be a goal for Pat Bryant this weekend.
