Illinois Football: Pat Bryant Leads Power Four in Receiving Touchdowns
Illinois Football wide receiver Pat Bryant leads all wide power-4 wide receivers in receiving touchdowns entering week 5.

Illinois Football star Pat Bryant now leads all Division 1 power-4 wideouts in receiving touchdowns. The Florida native has hauled in 6 touchdowns to date for the Fighting Illini. Through the first four games, the Illini receiving corps has been a revelation, and Bryant has certainly become the top and most reliable target for QB Luke Altmyer. Even though Zakhari Franklin has been a stud for Illinois, Bryant’s presence has been just as helpful.
Currently, Pat Bryant ranks 2nd in the nation in total touchdowns behind San Jose State wideout Nick Nash. Comparatively, Nash holds an impressive 8 touchdowns on the season.

In Friday’s win over Nebraska, Pat Bryant got the first score for Illinois Football. He used a quick double-move to get wide open in the endzone for a touchdown. To cap it all off, Bryant caught the game-winning pass to start off overtime. Pat has very reliable hands and uses his large frame to highpoint the ball. Overall, the senior receiver is quickly becoming an intriguing NFL prospect.
Bryant’s Impressive Stats Through 4
Eastern Illinois – 5 rec, 63 yards, 2 Touchdowns
Kansas – 3 rec, 70 yards (23.3 per play)
Central Michigan – 7 rec, 102 yards, 2 Touchdowns
Nebraska – 5 rec, 74 yards, 2 Touchdowns
Season Total: 20 Receptions – 306 total receiving yards – 6 touchdowns
Of course, as the old saying goes, “big-time players, make big-time plays, in big-time games.”
