Due to the circumstances, Illinois has garnered some positive media attention, in addition to favorable early bowl game projections from national outlets.

Of course, these projects are very early, as we are not even halfway into the season. However, this one should surely catch the eye of Illinois Football fans.

It would certainly be an exciting and interesting matchup for the Illini to square off against their tough border rival from the SEC. Only time will tell as we ease further into the 2024 season.
